The PrannaTimer was created for meditation. Incense has played a role in timing meditation for centuries, and so have the singing bowls of Tibet and Nepal.

Our timers are simple and elegant, use no batteries or electricity and are made of beautiful hardwoods.

The meditation timers are matched to specific bowls by hand. The sound of a real hand-pounded singing bowl is perfect to end a period of zazen.

We're back from the vipassana meditation retreat and it was wonderful, as always. Thanks for your orders (and patience) during the retreat special. Original PrannaTimers will be offered on a limited basis for the remainder of 2008 (since we're having a baby!) but Nepali PrannaTimers are in stock and ready to go. We also have a wonderful selection of Tibetan Singing bowls on hand.
